The Garfield Parent Teacher Organization is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization made up of committed parents, teachers and community members who work to provide volunteer and financial support to help Garfield achieve its mission of providing high quality education with a focus on cultural and civic engagement. Proceeds from fundraising efforts support academics, extracurricular programs, and community building activities.

PTO organizes the annual Readathon, and Dragonfest, our auction and game fundraiser in the spring each year. Volunteers also plan movie nights, morning parent coffees, help with school tours, and more.
